How the Fair works

  1. Everyone cooks at home

A family at one table or friends in different countries: each kitchen plays its own week, on its own clock, and picks its own dinners.

  2. One boss for everybody

Every dinner anyone cooks is a hit on the same boss. Its health is the whole party's week added up, so no kitchen is too small to matter. Cook the same night as a friend, wherever they are, and it takes a bonus hit.

  3. Thanksgiving is the great night

Once the boss is down to half, any kitchen's Thanksgiving table on Thursday or feast on Saturday is the final blow.

  4. Everyone wins the title

Bring it down and every kitchen in the party earns Champion of the Harvest Fair.

The boss: The Harvest Lord's Table

The Lord of the fair sits at the head of the table. Fill it, and the fair is yours. Saturday's feast for your table's fare:

The Thanksgiving table

A real dinner for Thursday, with jobs for the kids. Pick one and it becomes your Thursday night when the Fair opens. Cook it, and it counts as a hit like any dinner. Not doing Thanksgiving? Any dinner counts.

Thanksgiving, roast chicken

Old-Realm Thanksgiving

A real Thanksgiving dinner from the old realm's book: roast chicken with sage and onions, squash, roots, greens, warm bread and baked apples. Vegetarian table? Barley & Mushroom Stew takes the roast's place.

Kid jobs: 12 steps little cooks can do and 22 more for older kids. Every recipe marks who can do each step. Add your kids as heroes and they earn their own XP.

Not yet table-tested. These recipes are written from standard, well-known methods and haven't been through our test tables yet.

Thanksgiving, roast turkey

Old-Realm Thanksgiving with Turkey

The same old-realm dinner with a herb-butter turkey breast at the head of the table. Turkey is a New World bird, so call it a guest from distant lands. Vegetarian table? Barley & Mushroom Stew takes the roast's place.

Kid jobs: 11 steps little cooks can do and 26 more for older kids. Every recipe marks who can do each step. Add your kids as heroes and they earn their own XP.

On your own?

You don't need a party

The Fair works just as well alone. Your own week fights the same boss and wins the same title, and the fire forgives a missed day. This week's chapter, Harvest Eve, is running now if you want a warm-up, and your hero keeps the XP.
